As the Accounts Payable & Receivable Officer, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to maintain strong financial controls while supporting broader finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Process invoices, payment runs and customer receipts.
Maintain supplier and customer relationships, resolving finance enquiries.
Administer employee expense claims through Concur.
Perform daily bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
Assist with month-end activities, fixed assets and balance sheet reconciliations.
Support finance projects, process improvements and system enhancements.
Provide finance systems support and training across the business.
Desired Skills and Experience
Minimum 2 years' experience in an Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or Accounts Officer role.
Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy and organisational skills.
Experience using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Exposure to Concur, Certinia or similar finance systems (desirable).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive stakeholder relationships.
Able to manage competing priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
An interest in working for a purpose-led, not-for-profit organisation.
